after that, we will ensure your donations get into the hands that need it the most.
Here in Edmonton Alberta, it's not uncommon to have winters that reach negative thirty for multiple weeks in a row. Our goal with the Helping Hat Initiative is that those without shelter are provided clothing that offers some form of warmth during those months. According to research provided by CBC, the number of homeless people in Edmonton is increasing drastically which means that the number of people who will be stuck in the freezing cold this winter will be staggering.
If you are in a position to help, we appreciate all you can do.
